Honoring homeless Veterans
Just over 20% of the men who come to our homeless shelter are Veterans. They range from those who just recently served our country to those who served in the Vietnam war. Unfortunately many of these men suffer PTSD from their time in service, expecially those who have been involved in battle and have witnessed the deaths of others.
To recognize these men and to honor those who have given their lives in service to our country, we will be hosting an Open House on Monday, from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM. There will plenty to eat, fellowship, and TV. The men will be able to come in out of our 100 degree heat, cool off and honor our Veterans.
Thank you to those who financially support the Mission, so we can provide opportunities like this to those who are homeless and in need.
